Celebrate Lent like a 17th century monk. For this tour you will be joining Munich locals at several brewery kellers to drink “Strong” bier, eat from a brotzeitbrettl (“Snack board”) and dance on tables. After partying in Munich, we will also head out for short day trips to experience Starkbierzeit in smaller cities. Our tour will last 6 days from Thursday thru Tuesday in early March.
Bavaria is filled with some of the oldest sites in brewing history. Our goal is to cover some of the most interesting starting in Freising at the “World’s Oldest Brewery”. We will then travel to various “Oldest” sites ranging from the Oldest Beer Festival to the Oldest Bavarian Pilsner brewery and cap the trip with some of the oldest sites in Munich. This tour is in late May – early June 2026 and will last for 6 days.
There is a historic hiking tradition in Germany. It is not just in the Alps. Our tour will take you on several hikes that blend outdoor adventure with the beer culture of northern Bavaria. While you don’t need to be a mountaineer, you will need to have the ability to walk on uneven surfaces, cover terrain that can be steep, and be willing to hike several miles on most days of the tour. If you have never been outside the major cities in Germany, this is a great chance to experience the countryside and small city life. This 6 day tour will be in early September of 2026.

Camba Bavaria won 6 European Beer Stars. This was the most for any German brewer at this year's Event.
Four of these styles are currently available in Wisconsin. Gold Star winning Jager Weisse is a dry-hopped weisse beer with a subtle hop note that makes it easy to drink and refreshing.
The Dark Side is a black lager and has won a Gold Star multiple years. It has a deep and dark malt flavor that is well balanced and smooth.
Die Therese won Silver for the first time this year. It is a Festbier with a light gold color and sweet malt flavor. This beer is a great tribute to the original Oktoberfest Bride.
If you are looking for a great example of a Bavarian Helles Lager, Camba Bavaria's Hell has you covered. It was awarded another Beer Star this year. It is a fresh, traditional lager that highlights the brewing expertise at Camba Bavaria.
All four are available in 30-liter kegs with a few 0.5-liter bottles in limited supply.

Also winning "Gold" was the Pale Ale. You may remember that a few years back, this was awarded "World's Best Pale Ale". It continues to be a great example of an American-style beer.
The Dark Side continues to collect awards in recognition of being a fantastic black lager. This year's silver medal in addition to a gold beer star is a great achievement.
Camba Bavaria's Hell is a great Bavarian light lager and was awarded bronze as well.
Congratulations and Prost!
Camba Bavaria's Jager Weisse secured the Gold medal in the "Wheat Beer" (New Style) category at the 2020 International Craft Beer Award held by Meininger Verlag.
The Top-fermented wheat beer incorporates Simcoe, Chinook, Hersbrucke and Tradition hop varieties to brew a whet beer that is well balanced and fruity with a refreshing character. Is is the third award within a jear for the Jager Weisse: Last year the hoppy wheat beer won gold at the European Beer Star and bronze at the World Beer Awards.
Camba Marzen was awarded the Silver in the category "Marzen / Festbier". The copper-colored beer captivates with caramel malt notes and a light fruity tartness.
Both beers will be available to Wisconsin outlets in mid-September.
